I haven't been able to connect either graysi - I'm also in California. I was wondering why I couldn't find any other posts about it. This is the only one!

At the risk of advertising my 'net ignorance (not that it's ever stopped me before), are there different servers that send eBay to different parts of the country? Like maybe the CA server has gone to the beach for the day, or something?
