I have just spent quite a bit of time on the paypal site And cannot find anywhere that tells me what the difference is between Premier vs. Business account. The TOS keeps grouping the Premier/Business in one but then one place there refers to it as Premier OR Business....Does someone know where I can look to find out the definitions of premier and business. Are they the same?????. I cannot figure out which one I should Do IF I do. ALSO, the TOS states that "by accepting the terms as outlined by this agreement and using your Premier OR Business account, You attest that you hold all the necessary licenses to engage in the advertising and sale of the goods and services offered for sale or use thru your premier or business account" Which brings up another question. Even IF we sell more than 500 dollars worth in 6 months, that does not mean we are a legitimate business with licenses which many of us aren't. So how can we accept those terms as stated??? Hope this makes sense??? Like I said, I am getting more confused

The Business and Premier are both the same. Business if you operate under a business name. Premier if you operate under your own name. There's better things to worry about in PayPal's user agreement than Business vs. Premier, so I wouldn't take that part of it too seriously.

Oh, yeah. They stated NECESSARY licenses. Hobby sellers don't really NEED licenses if you're just clearing out your closet, etc. You be the judge of whether or not you need the license. PayPal just wants to stay out of trouble and not be held liable for anything.
