Put more than two pictures in an auction. I have a lot of over 70 pieces and to accurately show them, I need about 8 pictures. I've got the auction created with the pictures all in it, but can't find anywhere on e-bay how much it will cost me.
Thanks for all your help!!!

I am assuming you uploaded your pics though Ebay Image Hosting? Isnm't it free until later on?

I have read on ebay that there beta Picture hosting was free.
but resently went back while updateing a few items and noticed that the word free is no longer there but also no fee is mentioned.
could have been a glitch or over site on my part though.

No, I have the auction loaded here on AW, just not launched yet. i thought I read somewhere that 2 pictures are free. Which, to me, implies additional photos cost more. I could be wrong tho....it wouldn't be the first time.

Check with your personal ISP, mine gives me a website for free, and if I keep my pics under 50K, I can post 100 for free. Ed

AW has not yet rolled out the "Fee For Service" schedule...Neither has Ebay...So far, they are all free...go for it..

also you can get free web space from Xdrive I beleave it 100 Megs of space this would be ideal for auction photo storage.
and since they advertize this for extra web site storage space as well as HD space for programs and files you can link to your pictures from there.

to post more than one picture using the AW Auction Manager, start with two, then refresh the listing, add two more
I've done this with 4 pictures (have an auction up right now) and I assume you can keep going.

mrgroup, thank you, this is what I'd seen before but couldn't find it again. Does this mean that you can only use 6 pictures? 2 free plus 4 more for 50 cents? Or if you use the slide show, is there a max # you can use there?

UpInTheHills: You're not using eBay's image hosting, so the cost is irrelevant. You say you've got the auction loaded here at AW - have you transferred all the images to AW also?
You need to go to the AW Services forum and ask them how you add additional pictures to your auction, since you're using their image hosting/auction listing services.
(AW image hosting is free, regardless of how many images you put in an auction.)

It will not cost you anything unless you have eBay do the hosting.
Put them on Auctionwatch and make links in the description like this:

Why would I continue to use ebay or AW to list if they're going to charge me, when I can host my own pix for free on my own webpage?
Hey, the templates are tons of fun, but if I've got a choice between forking over for the privilege and setting up my own template (and uploading pix to my website), guess which I'll pick...
AW, whose bright idea is this?

Folks,
AuctionWatch does not charge to host your images and to the best of my knowledge, does not intend to in the future. Admin have stated they will be charging down the line for some services - I think that's likely to be stuff like Post Auction Management and the like.
UpInTheHills
There is no limit to the number of images you can host with AW. The standard Create Auction process has a default of 2 images but if you wish to add more just hit refresh and select more images. If you need any further assistance, please post to the Services Forum, linked below, and a Customer Care Rep will be able to help.

Yikes, this got all out of control. I wanted to know if e-bay charges additional fees for having more than two pictures in an auction. this was never about AW. mrgroup provided the link that I needed to answer my question. Thanks all, sorry everyone got all discombobulated.
