Okay, I've been using Auction Watch for a long time with little or no trouble. Today I have been trying to list some auctions and when I try to preview my item, this is the message I get back:
, A processing error occured while previewing your listing on eBay., AuctionCGI Data Failure: Invalid category , Please go back and verify the site specific information for this auction.
I may be confused, but I don't know what this means!! I'm doing everything the same way I always do and when I go back I can't find a problem. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Please help if you know. Thanks!!!!

I use Auction Submit and I am also getting a category error while trying to list items right now. Two different programs are having similar problems. It must be eBay??
Anyone else having problems?

I just checked with the AuctionSubmit website and they said:
October 16: eBay problems.
This evening eBay is incorporating changes that are affecting auction submissions. We are currently working on modifications. We recommend that, in the meantime, you do not try to submit to eBay or update your categories. Please keep an eye on this board for information and updates.

Hi everybody,
We are aware of this problem - it is related to some changes that eBay made to the category selection procedure. We are in the process of adapting our system to theirs, and we expect that we will be able to resolve this problem shortly. Please refer to our announcements page for status reports on this issue.
We regret any inconvenience, and as always, thank you for your patience.

I thought I was going stupid. I've been trying for hours. I'm glad it's not just me (no offense to anyone).

What a fabulous thing to have an actual company spokesperson come here and let all know what the scoop is. If only Ebay could be so caring and considerate with their money makers.
Thanks AW. You guys are way cool.

I have to "second that motion" for all the comments left thus far on this problem. Maybe with some luck we can all get our auctions up soon enough and be on our way to some dollars. God knows Ebay makes it regardless. We're the ones that have to sit here in the dark wondering if it's us or the twilight zone..... Thanks AW for saving a little sanity!

Well Im feelin the same pain you all are for sure getting the same error here all night .
ebay should really figure out what they want to do and leave things be frist they are down an hour or two every night so you can get bids now you cant list Items.
it a mirical they manage to mantain 4 million or more listing a day
