Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone with PayPal Customer service 1-800-836-1859. Here's what they told me:

For personal accounts, the "push" as she called it was to start tonight at midnight, but it will probably start at midnight tomorrow night.

Your account will show you a "View Limit," screen starting at $500 and counting down as you receive cc payments.

Once you've reached your limit, you'll be sent an email from PayPal telling you your options, i.e., upgrade/no longer receive cc pmts/etc. If you have a cc payment pending at that time, you'll also be told this, and may decide whether to cancel the payment, upgrade your acct, etc.

Again, this is what I was told by a very nice human at customer service - I found none of this in any emails or PayPal announcements.

I hope they do the debit cards soon, I made 3 payments to myself, $100 total on Sunday and Monday, as of today they are all still pending. Ridiculous to wait like that for a withdrawl to go through. Heather

Hi,

The counter should be going live tonight and it was delayed by one day. The amount sent to an account is not retroactive to the sixteenth.

Debit cards are right around the corner.

What did I miss what did I miss??? I was just skimming the board when I saw your posting and wanted to see what is up. I just got an e-mail from a buyer asking me how come I wasn't "verified". I told him before "X" took over, it didn't matter whether you signed on w/a c.card or bank, now it seems to be a pressure tactic to "verify me" via a bank account. Sorry I have plenty of auctions going through paypal, they don't need access to my bank account too!!

Guess what, just heard from the buyer and he said my reason for not being "verified" was a dang good reason! (righteous indignation) and he was sending his paypal payment. Guess it doesn't stop buyers from using paypal! Thank YOU
