I just now attempted to list an item directly onto eBay without going through AW. When it got to the fee info eBay told me 50¢ for $9.99 item.
At first I wanted to get this and two more listed before I hit the sack so I thought "oh, well. To make a long story short -you're welcomed- I didn't list any of them but just for an experiment I went back to list the $9.99 it was then 25¢.

There are so many things going wrong at eBay right now, nothing surprises me. I listed 4 items tonight, with great trepidation. Wish they'd just leave the damn thing alone until after the holidays!

It may be a problem with this new double cat. feature, since it would double charge you IF you picked two different cat.
I also wish they would just leave it alone until after the first of the year.

If they would simply leave it alone during peak hours I'd be satisfied. Only a monopoly can treat its customers the way that eBay does and get away with it. And yeah, why not leave it be until December? I wait all year for Sept. to roll around and then list from then through April. Ebay is really eating into my time.
