finally from todays Globe via CP...but nothing about minimum density.

Winnipeg -- Canada Post quietly increased the price of three of its four parcel delivery services on Oct. 1.
One-day delivery service, Priority Courier, has gone up 4 per cent, two-day Xpress Post increased 3 per cent and regular parcel service has jumped 13 per cent.

Obviously only appearing now because Canada Post mailed them the press release, typical lag time for Canadian delivery.

We were told the new rates only apply to shipments inside Canada. I have not been charged any more for out of country parcels this month. I am relieved (at least for now)!

Just wait til you are sending a big package to the USA that you have used a lot of packing peanuts on. The Cube-It density factor will kick in and you $13.00 package will suddenly cost you $40.00
