Who is she?

She has "'97VIACOM PROD
'97 HASBRO" on the back of her head.

She has a wheel on her back, and when you turn it it makes her right hand spin around and around. What this is supposed to accomplish is a mystery to me.

I bought her as part of a box lot, and she was wearing a gray velveteen pants outfit, untagged, complete with hat & purse. It might or might not be her original outfit- I don't know.

Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!

Hi! That's Sabrina the Teenage Witch, from the TV show of the same name.

just wondering- do you have any idea why her hand does that?

Hello again! She came with a bunch of accessories, including a spell book and a rabbit-and-hat trick. (There's a weak magnet in her hand, hence the spinning.)

Unfortunately, I didn't buy one of these when they were easy to find, but I did spot a page with more info, including a picture of the doll in her original dress:

Hope that helps!

Very interesting!!! Thanks once again for the info. Thanks also for posting that URL- I put it on a sticky note to investigate later. I really appreciate that!

I was just searching on Ebay to see what I could come up with, and there do seem to be some of these dolls listed. They're not closing at very high prices, even the ones that are NRFB. Which is not surprising for a recent doll, I suppose.

Mine doesn't have her spell book, her outfit, or her cat, unfortunately.

On the bright side, much of the other stuff in the box lot I bought was vintage Barbie, so I'll concentrate my efforts on auctioning that stuff first.
