I bought a box of magazines nothing too old, but in the bottom was a time magazine says" vol1 number 1 March 3 1923,, I dont have a pix uploaded yet or i would post it.
It looked like a promo reprint, but nowhere in it can I find anything that would state that. It just seems in too good of condition for its age. Also, the cover is in the glossy type paper, as are the pages, No color pictures, I Just want to know what this is and where it comes from or what it is for. I am sure it is not as old as it says, Anyone with any help here?

Had to say with out actually seeing it but even though the pages are glossy sounds like it could be a vol 1 of time.
I have old magazines from the earily 20s and mid 20s they use the glossy type paper so this dont mean it isnt old.
some of these old magazines stayed hidden away for years buried nice and flat and with out any damage for years.
The key to knowing is looking at the advertizeing are the ads for new companys and things or do they fit the time period and date of 1923 if they do you could have a real collectors peice here I cant say it would be top $$$$ Item but definately a seller or a keeper.

A $3000 start bid for this magazine is quite a bit ya think as about 5 mins of searching revealed that time magazines on yahoo and ebay have No higher bids at this moment of over $51 and thats with 5 bids and there are a few on there now dated october 1923 starting $9.99

Well... hmmm...
It has all old ads, I think the condidtion and the glossy paper threw me off. The only thing that might be a hint is the back cover has an DEGRAH floors, at the very bottom of the back cover it says , printed in INDIA?? Whats up with that?
I dont get it but I just have never seen one like this??
