My sister has a couple of sets of these bamboo pitchers and glasses:

The bottom has these markings The Islanders, 1960, copyright MGM 1960, Designed by Hickock :

Are they related to a movie or TV series? Does anyone know if Hickock is a company or a person?

Any help would be appreciated!

The Islanders was a TV series made in 1960. Perhaps these are some kind of premium?

they must be the props in the TV series "The Islanders" by MGM company in 1960
