This made me so upset to see an auction I have been following for days suddenly get cancelled in the last few minutes of the auction.
Official reason is "item described incorrectly", but I suspect it was because seller was not happy with final auction price.
This item typically sells for new retail at $399, but highest bid was for $349. Still, I think seller should have sold.
I have taken the risk of listing something for $.01 and actually only selling higher priced item for $.01!! If I auction off at a low bid, I am responsible for the outcome.

Maybe you can help me actually. I listed 4 items. To my knowledge I did not list as a dutch auction. Does the bidder do this? I had intended to sell as a set but when a bid appeared I noticed it was a Dutch Auction. If the bidder wants to pay that price for one item hey...a mistake in my favor...but truly I do not know how this works. Since you seem knowledgable about this what is your input?

Perhaps you thought that "4" in the quantity meant "create 4 auctions" - that's not the way to do it: you have to fill out the Sell Your Item form for each individual auction (4 times if you have 4 separate auctions).

Seller is entitled to cancel the auction at any time up until completeion, for any reason, very much including "displeased with current bid price".
