Jeeze,
What is Ebay doing? Trying to sabatage the very programs that make auctions easier for us so we list more?
I refreshed data in Ebud and I was mortified when my CLOSED dutch auctions went to 0 bids and the mini spreadsheet is inaccessable.
I wonder if I have lost all the data I have entered.... are the addresses still there? will it still tell me who has paid and who hasnt?
JEEZE... and the last back up I did was forever ago!
Anyone else or just me?

eBud basically does a seller search on eBay. And eBay at the moment isn't showing the bidders on any auctions. So, you haven't lost anything (and neither has eBay - the bidders are still on the auction pages themselves, they just haven't been put back on the lists yet).

Glenda,
I understand that the names of the winners will pop back up when Ebay gets its act together....
My question is:
Will all the innformation I entered into Ebud return?
I am thinking this is unlikely since Ebud read that there were no bidders and therefore no reason for the spreadsheet that contains all that information... you know the important stuff like who paid and who didnt....

Glenda thanks for your reply.. I understand the WHY of it.... I am wondering about the HOW How do I get MY info back ?
I think its lost in the twilight zone somewhere!

I think your information will come back, kaskas - the eBud database is probably so freaked out at you not having bids but no bidders that it isn't quite sure what to do. But, that's just totally a layman's guess; if it doesn't when the bidder's names are added back to the seller search, I'd suggest you write to eBud's support people before you do anything else.

Glenda,
You have been the helpiest helperton on this one! Thanks!
I checked with the Ebud people and they said the info would be lost.
However now that the names are back up all my info is there! (Do you know John?)
Maybe they should put you on staff there Glenda.... since you knew the answer better than they did.
I assume they were airing on the side of caution though...worst case scenerio and all.
Thanks a bunch Glenda!

I'm really glad that your information came back.
I'm glad, too, that it was apparently just a freaked-out database.

Thart is why you need to do a frequent back up of your eBud info. It is easy to do - check it out.

My Ebud program has majorly wigged because of Ebay! Addresses that had been put in the data card were missing, a few auctions moved themselves further down my list and 2 auctions completely disappeared I realized when I went to send one of my bidder her total for a tab I had been running for her. Only 5 of the 7 she won are showing in my spreadsheet. I'm unable to leave feedback thru Ebud. I was told by Ebud customer support to do back ups often and to get my high bidder to show, bring up the data card and click on "confirm data" button for each one not showing which at the time was ALOT! Ebay claims this is maitenance type stuff. My question is.... if it is maintenance...why the heck are they doing it during peak hours instead of between midnight & 5 a.m. like every Friday a.m. maintenance? I'm leery about listing items in the evening now. I listed 3 tonight and shudder to think about a week from now, same time..same station.
