With all the outages at eBay, has anyone changed their bidding strategies?

Most of my own auctions do not have much last minute bids--very little sniping, but there is almost always last hour bidding and plenty of last day bids.

I was thinking of putting a note that current outages make postponed bids an uncertain strategy if not an unwise one.

Good luck.

Most people who choose to snipe will rarely change, even when faced with such uncertainty. This has happened before, yet the sniping "revolution" continues unabated, it would seem.

Once buyers have discovered the benefits of sniping (essentially paying less for an item), its hard to see what would sway them, in general, from this path. Maybe a month straight of near-continuous outages might start to change behavior, but anything less is unlikely to.
