Wondering what anyone thinks about today's announcement of the "Buy It Now" feature, which I imagine will work like Yahoo's First Bid Wins? I guess this is eBay's first foray into the fixed price format that Meg so carefully buried in her letter to us last week. Sigh. eBay gets more and more like a mall and less and less like an auction. And a mall that frequently closes its doors for "unscheduled scheduled maintenance" at that!
