I was thinking with all the discussion about
needing an auctioneers license to possibly sell on ebaY.

And the question is ebaY an auction or are we really auctioneers.

Running rampant around the country trying to decide if old auction laws apply to ebaY and us.

If you put a BUY NOW price on your listing does then mean that ebaY cannot be considered an auction site and can we the sellers no longer be considered an auctioneer.

I have never seen or heard of a brick and mortar offering a buy price like ebaY and Yahoo and others will and have done.

Will this change how this is looked at by these auction bodies.

I wonder,what do you think.

Just think about the new revenue possibility for Ebay if you are right.

Option 1 If you are a licensed seller you can chose to use the "Buy Now Feature" at a fee of XX

Option 2 If you are not a licensed seller you must have the Buy Now Feature. Which requires an additional fee for each auction.

I hope this is not where this is heading.
