Like Gilda Radner said "It's Always Something!"
Here in Vancouver, BC, our cable server has been dysfunctional all day.
I can get into my seller page on eBay, so know my items are getting bids, but I cannot get to any single item to view it, or place bids on anything myself.
Some sites are working fine, like this one.
Others such as hotmail, which I use for eBay, are totally inaccessible, I get a message that it doesn't exist or something.
Not only that, the phone number for the web server is so overloaded you can't even phone them.
A friend got in touch early today with them, they said they had no idea what the problem was, their proxy servers were down, and had no idea how long the resolution would take.
Boy is that encouraging!
So basically tonight I am out of business, had hope to list about 30 items, but now I think its popcorn & movie night.

Umm...unless things have changed, isn't Geocities one of those free sites that doesn't want you to remote access files from their site?
I can understand it if the policy has changed, but otherwise what are you complaining about?
