My volume is increasing dramatically but keeping up with everything is becoming a real chore . I have tried Auction Amigo and find it OK but cumbersome and time consuming. The post sale feature on AW is worse (I can hardly see the mini-numbers let alone select the correct sequence) and it is super slow with all the pagination back and forth (and I have DSL). What is the best, most recommended route for post sale tracking. I want to keep up with payments, shipping, winning bids and particularly deadbeats. Suggestions greatly appreciated!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the AW PSM confusing. For example, I can't even figure out how to see a copy of my Winning Bidder Notification. Plus I'm not even sure my winners got it which is why I am not sending it out anymore. As for those tiny numbers. Forget about it!
You want a real simple (but easy) PSM? Just go to your Microsoft Works and set up fields for item #, winner's names, winners e-mail addresses, date they contacted you, and date shipped. It's a simple method but it works well.
Is anybody out there actually using The AW PSM effectively?

I've been using the AW PSM exclusively, but I'm finding that Auction Tamer is also good. However, it doesn't have listing capability, doesn't track in as much detail as AW PSM nor can it print out as attractive a packing slip as AW does. I wish they'd add PSM to AM Pro, which is how I do my Ebay listings.

FYI - I have been using AW for listing since the beginning. I think their tool is the best in the business now that the bugs are worked out. I have tried them all. But after the sale, all automation ceases and everything turns to manual drudgery. I will keep checking this post to see what turns up - hopefully a consensus. With the delays and shutdowns occuring regularly on eBay we really need some efficient program that will effectively capture the info and let us automate the post sale administration. And, friends and neighbors, Big Brother (IRS) is sniffing around auctions big time so we all need to be organizing ourselves properly for the big "T" (shudder-TAX) which is on the mind of every congressperson out there.

I couldn't do without my ebud (although I hope to change that before my next "rent" payment comes due!). Auction Tamer seems to have a loyal following, but I really like the automated features that AT doesn't seem to have.

I use AuctionAmigo with Nelson Organizer for post sale management. Nelson the best e-mail organizer I have used. I rarely pay for software, but I registered after the trial.
Some useful features of Nelson:
1. Correspondent Tab: displays all correspondence between you and a buyer.
2. If buyer has more than one e-mail address, you can _combine_ different addresses into one!
3. Search function is indexed and very quick. I have 8000 e-mails and an item number search comes up in 2-3 seconds.
I find AuctionAmigo invaluable as it automatically fills in all the auction specifics for me. I just copy/paste the text into my e-mail and I'm done.
a. EOA Congratulations
b. Payment received.
c. Item(s) has shipped.
d. Please leave feedback.
Set up your template correctly and you can create personalized letters easily. I write my e-mail for items b, c, and d. But c and d is delayed through Outlook's "Do Not Send Before" feature.
I hope this is clear. If not, I can clarify here or via e-mail (sun818[at]mindspring.com)
Thanks,
Sun Kim

I got Ebud at the beginning but it is only good for Ebay and we all know the unfortunate decision that John made.
I determined to find something to replace Ebud and I tried Auction Amigo (though admitedly it was an early version and not the present version)
Then, I found Auction Tamer. It was quite a difference between Tamer and Ebud and so I started using it for my Yahoo auctions first--which were fewer than the Ebay auctions. The more I used Tamer, the better I liked it and the more feature rich I found it to be. I love the fact that it will track all of my auctions on whatever site I am using.
It is not quite as automated as Ebud, but that is due to the fact that you can use it on so many sites. I am using it on all of my auctions now and am phasing out Ebud--especially with the recent problems experienced by Ebud during which they "lost" auctions. Ack!
I would suggest AT, but give yourself some time using two systems so that you can learn all of the ins and outs of the program. Oh and Mike is GREAT with Customer Service!
