Really weird. Yesterday I won a nice toy on Ebay. Today I got a barrage of email from the runner up bidder telling me how much he wanted it, how disappointed he was, and although he really has no money, would I sell it to him.
Now he is a little odd, but at least I understand him. What I don't understand is why ebay gave my contact info to another bidder? What legitimate use could he possibly have for it? And more weird - I haven't received any notice from ebay that my info was requested by anyone.
Rod Serling is going to walk around the corner any minute...

Hi whereistheprophet!
You stated you got many emails from this person. Any Ebayer can get anyone's email address by clicking on the user i/d and filling in their own user i/d and password. There is no notification of this from Ebay.
On the other hand if someone requests your contact information (name, snail mail address and phone number), they are given yours, you are given theirs and Ebay notifies you of this.
Hope this helps!
