In the last year I haven't been listing enough on eBay to bother with Mr. Lister, moved most of my auctions to Yahoo.

BUT, I decided to give it a try for convenience sake - Down loaded it yesterday, it appears to be working, filled out everything, and did a SEND to test how it worked. It said it sent the information, but I went in and NOTHING - the auction never showed up.

SO, I tried it again, and clicked to view the auction on line - again NOTHING - I am clicking finish, everything is filled out - DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE?

I checked the information page and it said perhaps I was putting in my ID instead of my e-mail, but that isn't the case since my ID IS my e-mail address.

I checked again this morning and the listing I tried twice last night still hasn't appeared.

ARE THERE LOTS OF GLITCHES WITH MR. LISTER?

SORRY, one other thing, before someone tells me you have to have certain qualifications to use Mr. Lister, I am aware of that, and am certainly qualified, as an eBay Power Seller.

Thanks, thought I should add that before someone offered it as a solution to my problem with Mr. Lister.

I post all my auctions using MrLister, even if it is a single auction. It allows me to do most of the work when convenient and sign on for a second to launch the auctions. Have never had a single problem, and have posted hundreds of auctions using it. Have not found a single glitch.

After finishing the entries, you have to save the set then click on "send".

Once it has been sent, it takes about 10 minutes before you can access them. They do not launch automatically. You have to sign-on to the MisterLister page and review/commit them. The link to that page is:

OKAY - looks like I am having a conversation with myself - but wanted to say, I worked on MR. LISTER this morning and got it to submit for me - so I am past that hurdle.....

NOW, NEXT QUESTION - since obviously MR. LISTER is NOT currently set up to handle the BUY NOW system coming in November, if I go ahead and set up a collection on Mr. Lister now, when the BUY NOW choice is activated, I would suppose MR. LISTER will have to be updated, at that time, when MR. LISTER is updated, does it effect any pending collection one presently has saved on it?

ANY information or comment on glitches on MR. LISTER would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS SO MUCH

ML is very effective, but it is lousy software. When I use it, I prepare to reboot machine afterwards. My understanding is that it hogs resources and doesn't clean up afterwards. It is better than it used to be, but it's not very good.

I would not count on a smooth transition for BUY NOW. Even now I do not think they keep up with all the categories. However I could be wrong here. You may need to post this on eBay to get an answer.

I use Mr. Lister, and I like it, although it does occasionally give me problems (mostly uploading).

When I am having problems with it, I go to the Mr. Lister board on eBay, and there I can at least find out if it is something I am doing wrong, or if it is happening to everyone.

The exchange between users on that board has given me some good tips, and now and then someone from eBay offers some help.

MR. JIM -

THANKS so very much for your thoughts and insight on this program, I think I'll be using it more often, didn't realize how simple it was - thought it was a spreadsheet format through Excel and I really don't like those programs.

Again, thanks so much.

GOT a reply from eBay on MR. LISTER & BUY NOW PRICING:

************Hello

Thank you for the wonderful question about the Buy It Now feature that
eBay will offer soon. Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to this
question. Our developers are working on a version of Mister Lister with
the Buy It Now feature, but if it will be completed in time to be
released with the rest of the site is unknown.

I hope this information has helped, and I wish you all the best on eBay.

Regards,

Charles B.
