I had a dutch auction for 10 items end a short while ago. The auction page says there were 3 bids. When I click on High Bidders, there are only 2 bidders listed (they bid on one item each). Where did the other bidder go? There were no bid retractions. Does anyone know what could be going on here?

Did one of the bidders raise their bid?

No, there were only 2 bids. One for the opening amount and one for $.75 more. There were no 2nd bids. I run dutch auctions all the time and I've never seen this before. Weird...

I'm not really concerned about "losing" the 3rd bidder. I just don't want to get a neg for not contacting him/her (if in fact the 3rd bidder actually exists).

I just got an answer from eBay. There were in fact 2 bidders and one of them bid twice. The eBay rep said a glitch in the system must have prevented one of the bids from showing up in the bidding history. I'm sure glad it wasn't a 3rd bidder... That would have been a nightmare.
