I have noticed in some feedback files that feedback is left, the one receiving the feedback responds, and the one that left feedback then places a follow-up comment. I just looked at one like this that was placed on September 20 of this year. Here is what it looked like:

Click on Services on the main navbar, then on Feedback Forum. At the Feedback Forum, click on item #3, Review and Respond to Feedback Comments Left For You.

I am aware of how to respond to a feedback comment left for me.
Here is the deal: I left a negative for a seller that sold me a piece of junk. It was not as described and useless. The seller responded in his feedback file with a lie. I now want to go back into his feedback file and leave a follow-up comment to his response. As I indicated in my first post, I have seen this done in several feedback files, and they were done last month.
It appears that the one giving the first feedback has the last word with a follow-up comment.
How do I do this?

jacqueg, you want some good advice. You left him a negative & he probably did the same to you & if I were you, I'd just walk away from this. Unless you spend a ton of money, there is no point making your life more miserable with this transaction.
I am assuming refunds or partial compesation is out of the question so what's left is possibly hurting the sales of this bad seller.
I've seen feedbacks where the seller & buyer would keep leaving responses for days with no end to their bickering. Its pathetic & after 7 responses one wonder in the end if there was any satisfaction to either party.

Go to the feedback section of your "My eBay" page and click on the link to show all the feedback you have left. Find the feedback comment you are looking for, and click on the little envelope next to the response that was left by the other person.

Can you really do this? I've never seen more than 3 comments related to one auction, which is what eBay says their policy is:
If you left feedback for someone, the person can respond to your feedback. If the person leaves a response, you have an opportunity to leave a follow-up comment. This is as far as the dialog can take place within a single block of feedback.

Thank you. It worked just as you stated.

I apreciate your advice but I won't allow a lie to stand uncontested. This was an item that I paid several hundred dollars for.
I didn't receive a neg from the seller, I received a positive because I paid immediately by credit card.
I tried through 14 emails with this seller to return the item. He refused. I sent the item back by insured mail with delivery confirmation. He refused delivery and the item was returned to me. This set the ground work for the credit card chargeback that is now in process.
