I was scanning a few auctions, and I was wondering how much pictures was gonna load up for an auction.

When I was highlighting, I noticed the TOS appear. When I de-highlighted, it was just blank space.

I thought the background (i.e. other than standard eBay Sterile White) that the seller chose would appear and make the TOS visible. It didn't load up.

This is for item(s) that are "surplus."

Question I pose is, is this illegal? And, what would you think about this practice?

Yeah Macandjan !!! I always tell them I'd been in prison before and was wanting to go back anyhow !! LOL

But to the question - TOS whether they can be seen or not are not words from God. A seller wants one thing - money. If a buyer or seller wants to nix a deal due to TOS, so be it.

Unless you have a lot of time and money to blow on lawyers, leaving neg FB is the only leverage any of us have once a seller has the money, unless you use a credit card - the smartest way to buy on the Net.
