I haven't been able to list any auctions for about a month or so due to busy life. But I started listing a few today and in the notices I am getting this is what is says,

"Dear ,

Let the trading begin--your item is listed!

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=

Title of item:
Minimum bid:
Reserve price (if any):
Quantity:
Auction Ends on: Tuesday, Nov 07, 2000 at 16:23:59 PST

Your item number is:

Fees:
Insertion Fee: $0.25 (It will be refunded if the item is sold!)

Total fees for this item: $0.25
eBay Online Payments Credit Card or Electronic Check Fees will apply if buyer purchases item using Billpoint.

*It's important that you make a note of these details, especially the item number; you will need it in any correspondence with us about your listing, and in order to make any changes to your listing.

*You can change your item listing as long as no one has bid on it yet. Just go to eBay.com, click on your listing, and choose Update Item. If you can't find your listing, enter its title in the search window.

*For more tools to help you manage your listing, including adding information or ending the auction early, check out the services available in eBay's Buying and Selling Tools section, at

Best of luck!

So am I missing something? I hadn't heard of listing fees being refunded.

Was it a previous item that did not sell? If so, the listing fee will be refunded if it sells the second time around.

No these are all new items. I haven't listed anything in 48 days. I'm not complaining but just wondering what was going on and how long it would last.
