Has anybody listed auctions that will close on Election Day this Tuesday? If so, that could be a mistake. I remember Election Day in 1996 when a lot of folks had trouble logging onto the Web due to the heavy traffic. And now there is at least 4 times the amount of Web traffic so there is still that problem of overload. I almost listed an auction that would have closed on Tuesday but held off when I remembered about that Election Day overload.

I made sure nothing ended during the 'big game' next Tuesday. I might look for a bargain that night while listening to the returns. Supposed to be a close game.

Speaking of which, did you all hear Baby Bush's latest flub? This afternoon in I think Florida he said Al Gore acts like Social Security is a federal program! I know the comedians all want Bush to win because of all the new material they'll get, but oh, please God, we'll all have to move--somewhere!

I think Election Day will be a great day to end auctions. Folks are at home, close to the TV and their computers....

The best 'fub' of the week, or month for that matter has to go to Clinton. When I read he felt the Republican's owed the American public an apology for the impeachment hearings I had to do a double take.
