Did a "site search" and nothing came up from the message center.
What is a "chop plate", besides being one huge plate that is?
I have some cups and saucers to mail out soon. I double bubble and double box already.
I make sure the dishes don't move around inside. Is there something else I can do to insure safe arrival priority mail? All my
dishes have arrived safely so far...I am
just worried about the thin handles on these
cups.

Morning labrat4gmos -
What I've done, besides what you already mentioned that you do, is put an extra piece of bubble wrap around the handle before bubble wrapping the cup. I use at least a double thickness on that handle.
Also, I either box each cup by itself, or if boxing more than one cup I put cardboard dividers between each bubble wrapped cup. No chance they can bump each other that way.
I've had buyers tell me the china I've mailed could have survived a drop from an airplane. Just love compliments like that.

Thank you Amy! I thought the chop plate might be for meat. Those plates are really big.
The one I saw was twice the size of the turkey platter I used to use. I hadn't
heard of them until I started surfing through Ebay.
Linda, thanks for the wrapping suggestions. I think I will separate each cup with a cardboard divider or box them separately.
