Ok, you've been warned.
On July 5th I shipped a parcel off to a customer in VA from Canada. 6 weeks later I received an email from her asking if I knew when her item would arrive?
I just about flipped, 6 WEEKS & no item???
I emailed her back & apologized profusely & blamed it on the USPS [like I always do ]
& told her a refund would be in the mail first thing in the AM.
Oh no, she says not to send a refund, she'll wait a few more weeks & let me know if it doesn't arrive. Whoa, can you believe this buyer? I was floored with her patience so I decided to send her a refund, and told her if & when the parcel arrived to keep both her item, and the refund. She was very happy about that, but refused to keep the refund if the item arrived & said she would mail it back as soon as the parcel arrived.
TODAY, on Nov. 3rd, I had Canada Post return the parcel with a USPS label affixed that reads: "Return To Sender - Unable To Forward" & dated 08/09/00 I'm not sure if that's day/month/year or month/day/year, but either way I have no idea what the USPS has been doing with it since then?
I managed to do a reverse lookup on the web with her name & addy & found that a portion of the street addy was incorrect [certainly not my fault ]
I now have her correct addy & will be sending her an early Xmas present free of charge.
