Question for all of you who use the "pay now" option with Billpoint. Do your customers ever use that?
Of all the auctions I've listed like that - my customers have always asked me to mail them a Billpoint invoice. It's like they just don't want to use that "pay now" option.
Some of them I've even told them that if they click on the "pay now" button that they won't need me to send them an invoice and they can pay directly from there.
Their response? Please send one anyways.
Is it just me? Or do the customers just not care for that option?

I explain how instant purchase works in my EOA mail. I would say that maybe 1/4 of my Billpoint customers still request an invoice. Most of these simply want the invoice for their records.
For the vast majority of Billpoint buyers, instant purchase is the way to go, and it saves the seller some hassles as well.
And there's no additional charge. Might as well offer it.

Well, mine are apparently as dumb as a bucket of rocks because not only won't they use the "instant" feature, after I send the invoice, half of them need walking through it.
The ones I love best are those that ask, "Can I just email you my credit card number & you use it?". Suuurrreee...there's this nice little Mercedes I've had my eye on.

Eventer: That happens to me ALL the time! Just the other day I received a phone call from a guy saying "I'd like to pay for my ebay purchase with my credit card now".. I had to explain to him I have no way of accepting his card over the phone and that he had to use one of the services offered in my auction and in my EOA email. So he said he'd send me a money order! And I got it a few days later! I don't get it.
Oh, and I don't know how he got my phone number - it's not on my EOA emails and he never requested my info through ebay!

I am an Ebay buyer/seller but not real experienced but I bought something the other day and tried to use the Pay now option and got a window saying that there was no invoice for that item # then gave me instructions on how to request an invoice from my seller? Could it be in the preferences of your accounts or something? I was confused because if it is listed with ebay and the billpoint link is there then you should have an invoice right? Doesn't billpoint save your selling preferences like auctionwatch does?
