I have a problem I have never encountered in my 2 years on eBay. Everything is working fine. I can access all areas, I can list, I can re-list, leave fb etc. But......when I attempt to place a bid I hit the "Review Bid" button and my computer hangs up (at around 39%) and just sits there mocking me. It will do this until AOL times out and logs me off. What the heck is going on here? This has been happening since yesterday afternoon and I'm really having withdrawl here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look at the BIDDING bar, if there's two of them, it's an ebay bug. Nobody can bid on that item.

Notify Seller so item can be relisted.

That doesn't appear to be the problem. I've attempted to bid on numerous items with the same result. BTW...anyone have the Powersellers help email address handy?

If you have an alternate browser installed on your computer, Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc. try bidding with that one and see if the problem doesn't go away.

Hi Kathy...I did try using IE and the same thing happened. This is really curious.

Hello eyeguy6. Try disabling all three scripting options, including Java in your browser's TOOLS button - TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - SECURITY - CUSTOM LEVEL - SCRIPTING. Then delete your temporary internet files and refresh the page to see if this works. If it doesn't solve the problem you may want to check out this thread:
