I cannot get my closeups to come out clear. I have the closeup button pushed down. I am using a tripod and plenty of lighting. What is wrong? They come out all blurry. Please help.

How close are you to the object? According to the Fuji web site, the macro mode of that camera lets you get to within 4 inches.

Meya, I was about 6 inches away and it still came out blurry. Is there something I am supposed to set besides the button on the side? thank you for your help.

I have the same camera- try going farther away from the item to take the picture. Download the picture into your software, crop it, then enlarge it with your software. I can enlarge my items 100%. (I use Adobe Photo Deluxe)
Hope this helps

Actually, my best results come when I'm within an inch or two of my subject. I take photos of jewelry and they usually come out pretty well. Try getting a little (or a lot) closer and see how that goes.
