I was going through a box of old books I bought at an auction, and found a stamps approval book that was issued sometime between 1956 and the time zip codes were brought into use.
The book consists of 21 pages, has both foreign and US stamps, with commemoratives of state centennials, organizations, transporation, etc, and the stamps range in dates from 1921 through 1956.
In searching Ebay, I couldn't find any past listings for approval books, or a category for them.
Does the book have any value, and if it does, would it be better to list it intact, or take it apart and list Russian Czars, King Peter of Serbia, etc separately?
The only thing I know about stamps is that I like the kind I don't have to lick!

lin - If you don't get an answer here, there is a Stamps discussion board on eBay. Go to the COMMUNITY page, scroll down, and it is in the lower right corner.

One really can't tell by the description but it is not particularly likely to have significant value. At least for US those who list odd lots with a good scan to show what's there usually seem to get fair results. Almost all US used from those years are strictly penny ante stuff. "general" and "collections and mixtures" are likely categories.
