did you also know that the company requires all new purples have to buy stock so the price stays up
have you heard anything about this stock option requirement for all new purple (hearts) stars

I hit purple myself today. But I must confess that the first 300 or so were from buying.
Which goes a long ways towards explaining why I sell now.
On a low note, I just received e-mail from an agrieved buyer who bought a book - off Ebay - from a bottom feeder using my EBAy name, but tied to a NARU'ed aol e-mail.
He payed by PayPal, and received........not a thing.

I also heard that the company will be giving stock options to all purple hearts just to keep the good sellers around
did you read the trust and safety board stuff nothing but fraud, no items received after payment sent
a small bunch creating problems for all the good sellers around.

Anybody ever wonder what the statistics are on percentages of members with each colored feedback heart?
I think it would be interesting to know, if eBay would ever publish that information.
Also would be interested in seeing the percentage of users who have been around since the very beginning of eBay (i.e. "AuctionWeb" members).
Now... are you guys kidding about the stock options for purple hearts ? (I didn't see any winks or smiley faces next to your statements... so I'm hope I'm not too naive in assuming that is planned to happen ?)
I'm only closing in on 200 (after 4 years of part-time buying/selling)... so, I've got quite a ways to go. It amazes me how folks rack up the feedback so quickly. I admire your work ethic/time commitments, and congratulate those who are doing well with it.
Not to mention that probably 50% of my buyers don't bother to leave feedback.

As of today, I am at 222 after just over a year of buying and selling. I know when I got that little star behind my name, I was just SOOO excited. I was even happier that I had made it so far without any neutrals or negatives (can't say that anymore, but the negative got reversed later, so that's not quite so bad now).
I can't wait to get purpled next year.. 8)
