Has anyone else been having this problem.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the election but things have not been this bad since august. I have the same types of items so I really don't think it is the products.
I am getting so depressed. This stinks.
(please don't tell me it is gore/bush's fault) they never bid on my auctions anyway

. I was listening to CNN finical Analysis the other day and they said that this is starting to show in all the markets. Now when there should be an upswing. Some are predicting if it doesn't get settled soon it will so affect the retail season where now almost 80% of most profits are made that it may put us into a recession. People are nervous I even am and I usually don't worry about it. Next Friday Black Friday is the biggest retail day of the year.

If they don't get this settled by then some of the analysts are afraid the market won't hit the up turn it is supposed to this time of year. I thought it was interesting. I had a few economic course which by far doesn't make me anything but it follows logic that they need to settle this soon.

As for my auctions the seem to be staying around the same amount but they should be going up this time of year

My Bids are actually up. I am not doing anything different, so I will continue to keep my fingers crossed.

I said the same thing...

I guess people are holding onto their money because they're petrified that ole' George Dubbya will be able to scam his way into the White House, and destroy the economy

Yeap then he will start a war trying to make himself look good. Riding in dads coat tials. His dad wasn't bad as presidents go but I dread Bush in for middle income and poor people. However, I wasn't to pleased with Gore either. Think about it neither of them are thinking about the nation. They are just to little rich boys trying to get their way. If one really cared they would back down for the good of the nation.

I don't think that we'll go into a recession just yet. I mean, the presidential election is almost over -- right?

I base that on the fact that about a year after Ronald Reagan became president, the GOP released to the news media that they had paid off the Iranians to hold our embassy hostages until Ronny became president. They did it to make Jimmy Carter look weak for the election. I figure that if the GOP can hold onto our hostages for an extra 6 months in Iran, why not oil Rich Bush Clan and the rest of the Amerian oil GOP twist the Arab's wrists to raise prices dramatically during this election year in order to make Gore look bad? You can't say they did it, but you also can't say that they didn't do it.

So, since the election is over for the most part, there is no reason to keep having our economy sabotaged by OPEC. Go figure!
