Ok, I'm starting to get worried here. Last night I tried to use my UsaBancShares Debit Mastercard to purchase postage through Stamps.com (I've used this card for tons of things with no problems before). Last night it was denied. But when I entered my checking account information for an ACH transfer it went through fine. I later tried the Mastercard for something else and again it was denied.
When I tried to get into my account last night it said my info was unavailable. This morning the entire site is down.

I cannot sign on either, but just got them on the phone. I am am sending them a link to this thread (their request) so that they can respond.

I bank there too. I called the bank and it is a phone company line that went. They are very reliable, I've been there since they launched and NEVER have any problems!!!
This is nothing to worry about, I assure ya

I'm not worried about the usabanc.com, but I do share your observation on the post.
I expect online services to be down from time to time so I don't worry about not connecting on occassion, usabancshares.com is up now, slow, but it is up.
I've been very suspicious of some posts at times and wondered about their sincerity. I can find more people announcing the merits of Achex on the AW message boards than I can find sellers on eBay using it (this is not an exaggeration).

Well, all I know is I tried to use my Debit Mastercard today at a store and it was declined and there was plenty of money in my account to pay for my purchase.

Ok, just got off the phone with Usabancshares.
I asked them why I could not access my account? He said he didn't know.
I told them I have not been able to get to their website all last night until this afternoon. He said didn't know anything about it.
I told them my credit card was declined last night and again today at a store and I had plenty of money in my account to pay for my purchase. He said he didn't know why.
I told him even though I could FINALLY get into the website, that I could not log on. He said he didn't know why. He said he just changed my security code. He gave me the "new" code and it still did not work. He changed it again and it finally worked and then I had to re-change my security code again.
I told him about this message board and about what VeryModern said about a representative posting a message on this board. His answer, of course - he didn't know.
I asked him if someone would update this board. He said he couldn't do anything about it since he is not the one who had the conversation with someone about it.
He DID mention about how my account was DEBITED by ExchangePath for several $1 and $10 amounts - and this, I have NO IDEA why! I will be contacting Exchangepath about this. Last night when I tried to deposit money from my Exchangepath account to my USA Bancshares account it sais my account was "invalid". So none of this makes sense.

Thanks for posting the update ExecutiveGirl.
I have been able to log on this morning and nothing seems amiss. I am still going to close this account in favor of Netbank though. Boy I hate deception of any kind when you are supposed to be a BANK for chrissakes.
The person I spoke with was Mike T and I have his email thanking me for the link to this board. I have got to assume someone from usabancshares became "islandwatch" and posted this morning posing as a user and as far as I am concerned this is a huge red flag.
Mike T signed on to AW while I was on the phone with him looking for this board. He intended to post, he flat out told me this.
