Ok, ebay added this new (stupid, rediculous, waste of time and energy) "feature" where only the SELLER can see the high bidder's email addresses.

Now, that's fine with me. That's not what I'm having problems with.

I just tried bringing up my auctions that just ended - all on one page. I signed in, and clicked on "click here to see high bidders email addresses".

This is what I get:

Error: Requestor not the seller. Only the seller can view the high bidder's email addresses.

BUT I **AM** the seller!!!!!

I just wrote to ebay about this, I hope they answer soon because I need to email these people! And there are a LOT. I need to see all of them on one page (for several reasons).

Does anyone know a way around this - without having to click on each name separately??

Sorry but nope. I don't even think eBay knows a way around it. They'll have to work the kinks out of this new feature now.

Wish I could help. I do all of my e-mails from the End of Auction notices (so they better NOT get rid of that OLD feature).

Oh Mi Gosh!! I thought it was just me! I thought I was going crazy trying to get somebody's email address so I could contact them!!!

It's not even showing me MY email address!

And there was an auction that I wabted to bid on but forgot to. It closed without a bidder and I couldn't get the seller's email address so I could ask if I could still purchase the item...

Great! This new feature of theirs affects SO much!!

Like I had just received a PayPal payment and went to go leave feedback for my buyer. I was looking for their email address in my list but all that would show was their username and I wasn't sure which auction it was for. So I had to go back into my records of sent email and find the username and auction #. What a pain!

And I was logged in at the time, and I am the seller, so I should definitely have been able to see my high bidders' email addresses.

I sure do hope they fix this!

You get the high bidders email address in the EOA letter from eBay. This at least gives you the information until eBay fixes their latest "improvement".

Does anyone know how prompt eBay is right now about sending out the EOA's? They used to be so late that most of my transactions were completed before they arrived so I just ignored them when they did arrive. I guess I can't do that anymore.

Received this email from Ebay this morning - hope this can help some of you who are having problems seeing your high bidders...

Hello,

I'm so sorry for any concern or inconvenience that this has caused.

In order to view your Seller list with emails included, you will have to first sign out, and then go to Search. Enter your Seller name and choose the option to "include emails". The resulting page should then show you all winning Bidder's email addresses.

We do apologize for any confusion or concern this has caused.

Regards,

Bridget
