I would like to know what is everyone's opinion of changing your eBay user ID? When I first registered with eBay, I had no intentions of ever selling anything....and I used the prefix of my old email address. I don't use that email anymore, and my user name now seems irrelevant. I have thought about changing it, but I don't want to do it hastily, as I am really just starting to gain a customer base. I'm torn between wanting a "catchy" ID, and sticking with what I've had from the beginning. Any thoughts?

I just changed my user ID to something a little more relevant to my business and it hasn't had any negative effects at all. You get the shades back but you keep all your feedback and all that. Your old ID still is linked to your account for 30 days in case people come looking for you under that name.
