I had someone do an e-check through paypal, this is my first of these. How long does it usually take before they clear a paypal account, it has been a week. Thanks.

I've had one, it took 4 working days. So don't include weekends or holidays. Maybe tomorrow? Just be sure you don't ship until it does!

I've had one, it took about about 7 days,maybe a couple more. Whatever you do, don't ship until it clears because it can be cancelled.

The one I got took four days, too. First you get a notice from PayPal that you've been paid with an e-check (and they warn you to NOT rely on the money being in your account for several days), then you get a second notice when the check has cleared. It also shows "cleared" in your PayPal account.

I just had my first e-check from paypal this month, the second email (authorizing the check) didn't come for 7 days! I was starting to wonder, but now it's here and I'm shipping today.

It took eight days for mine to clear (it just cleared this morning), but I thought part of that was probably Thanksgiving and the Paypal downtime of yesterday.

I had one that sat there for going on 2 weeks and the customer finally gave up and cancelled it and re-paid and the payment was fine.
I got another 'e-check' a couple of days ago from a regular customer who had more than enough in her Paypal account to cover the transaction amount and yet they told her it was 'uncleared' so now we're thumping our feet again... of course I can't see if it has cleared cos I can't bloomin get in to Paypal!
