Because I hadn't heard from a number of customers (feedbacks), I decided to do a follow-up email and find out if they received the item and if it was to their satisfaction.

I ran into one customer whereby I mailed their item first-class on 11/17/00. That was the Friday before the last. When should I become concerned? I've asked my customer to notify me when the item had arrived, but my options are numbered as the item was not insured. Finding a record of shipment (receipt) is questionable. I've recently started going to the local post office where they print the zip code & cost (in the last week).

I picked up a form at the post office, but wanted to inquire as to what I should prepare for. It's been 10 days already.

Well, you can discard two week-ends, right off, plus another 2 days for Thanksgiving, which leave a few days to catch up with a huge mail back up, due to 2 week ends and Thanksgiving... But for sure, by Wednesday, I would start to worry. But will probably be there by tomorrow...
