PAYPAL customers emailed notice of payment are delayed and for how long I don't know. It usually only takes seconds to get them. It is also hit and miss as far as getting into your Paypal account to check payments.

Better to warn customers in the eoa email about this rather than catch their wrath later due to delays.

The emails should have gone out at this point (I checked with engineering), but delivery is also going to depend on the servers receiving them.

The emails will get through and I appreciate your patience.

I paid someone using PayPal this morning and got the emailed receipt a few hours later.

Someone sent me a payment bout an hour ago.

Received it an hour ago.

ok paypaldamon...here is one....A lady sent a payment to me today around 3 pm EST. I cannot (for two days) even get to my account. I have not received an email from Paypal either. What is going on??

The site has been intermittent, but it does appear to be operating now. Try clearing your cache and going on.

Does Paypal plan on refunding our charges during this pitiful lack of service? I don't know about everyone else, but I have tried five times to do one transaction today, my time is money and Paypal sure isn't shy about charging per transaction.
