Hi there,

I need some help wording feedback that is appropriate and not nasty.

The auction in question was missing some information (payment methods) I emailed and got the info before the auciton ended, won the auction and got an automated email. I couldn't fill out the Auction Manager form online because of the missing information. I went ahead and paid with Paypal since the email prior to the auction said that was acceptable. Also emailed the seller and explained this. Then nothing. I waited several days and emailed again. Nothing. I waited several days and emailed again, saying I just wanted to make sure they got the payment. Nothing. Today I got the books, crammed in a bubble package (and I do mean crammed, the largest had to be bent to get it out.

The feedback I'm thinking of leaving is:
Sent immediately, books as described. Poor communication, poor packaging.

Does it sound too offensive? If the largest book was the one I'd wanted I would have been very upset and I have been worrying about whether the transaction was a "go".

What do y'all think?

"Poor Communication. Book damaged due to poor packaging" 56 characters

or
"Shipped fast but packed poorly, book damaged. Poor Communication" 64 characters

evelyn- if you leave that as a neutral it would be reasonable. i have notice more and more that on many auctions the seller states that payment methods are described below but they are not there.

Sounds like an accurate account of your experience to me.

Is you comment a neutral, a positive or a neg?

I'm going to leave a positive, because the transaction was completed satisfactorily. The book that now has dents was a colored in coloring book, and not at all the reason I was bidding. I just stress over getting the i's crossed and the t's dotted

stusi, you're right. There have been several auctions we've found close to closing and just haven't had time to exchange emails about what payment options are open. Or "Seller pays fixed amount" on shipping and no amount is listed!

Thanks for the help everyone.
