I am sorry but I think that that is Theologically unsound. If you need help with financial problems pray for help and leave
the how to God. It seems sort of like praying for a home run at baseball, or praying for your horse to win. Demeans prayer.

A little prayer for anything gets God involved. However I am not so selfish that I don't pray for what I guess you think has meaning such as those less fortunate etc. Just want him involved even if it is wise for me to stop doing this for the time being. Didn't mean to raise a fuss..

Each lillie of the field is known etc. . . One of the littlest things is the world. The point of that part of the New Testment was to teach us even little things that don't seem to matter to most people matter to the one who created us. Now I am not a Bible thumper or anything like that but you made a request that I will comply to. One that is a sound one. Many people pray that their work and jobs will work well. Money helps to buy health care, food, paying for housing and if your lucky to have enough left over some fun things, to help other etc. . . We are supposed to enjoy life to if we get a chance. All these are important things. Money, Auctions, is only a means to something bigger. I raised the money to buy a tombstone for a friend of mine that had nothing. You better believe I was saying a word or 2 on that to the Boss (the link is below if you want to see it all paid with by Ebay auctions otherwise I NEVER would have been able to get it). So it is no real big fuss. If people don't want to they don't have to but I know I can use all the help I can get : ). Hey you only get it if you ask : )

Thank You! Music to my ears. I am a single Mom and Christmas is bought by the things I sell. I also intend to bless others as a teaching for my children. God is already involved...I am just asking for his wisdom. Funny thing...right after I posted this...I began getting bids after a long dry spell..ain't God good!

That's about the only way I'm going to get a bid right now--an act of God.

I've never seen it this slow.

another prayer coming your way. And don't think you're alone on praying for your auctions. I have gone to bed at night a few times asking God to help my auctions along, only to get up the next morning and find bids that weren't there just a few hours ago.
As a matter of fact, a few nights ago half the power went out in our small town. Our power didn't go out at our house, but we had a surge, and before I could get up to turn things off we had another power surge. My daughter was on the computer at the time, and it went black. I waited awhile, tried to turn it on, and got nothing. After some very stressful minutes, several phone calls to find out warranty wouldn't cover it, being told by two people that it most likely fried my computer, which by the way isn't even a year old, I cried, and prayed. An hour later I started messing with it again, unplugged it from the socket in the surge protector into another one, and it came on. Who knows what made it work then, but I for one believe in the power of prayer.
So yes, I will pray for your auctions, and I thank you for praying for mine!
And I'm not a bible thumper either, just a believer.

You've got my prayers dialin4dollars, and I appreciate your prayers for mine as well. It's all in His hands and we lay it all at His feet. His wisdom and guidance will never do us harm.

Glad to hear you've been getting some bids. It's been a bit slow for me, but I'm still at least making something, thanks to God.

dialing4dollars - Will be praying for your auctions!! Requesting prayer for your auctions is certainly appropriate. I have prayed many times for friends and family who need a job to support their families. This is the same thing to me.
traceyg - Thanks so much for sharing your site. The picture of George is the sweetest thing I have seen in a while!! You must be a very special person!! Made my day too!!

You must be a very special person>>

I was just very blessed to have him in my life. Every year for Christmas he used to get me a Teddy bear. I miss that he was a sweetie. Through the eyes of a child. . . no matter how old I was blessed.

Thanks I bet it is the only tombstone with a Ice cream cone on it : ) and ALL paid for via Ebay auctions and most of all the Bosses Blessings!!!

May everyone auction do well and the world be filled with grace and charity.

Anyone ever miss the real world before computers ; ) I can't even remember what it was like.

You can say that again : )

BTW bad religion I use 666 all the time on the lotto. People that are highly superstitious and ignorant care about that number in the way that most people try to use it today. It really is silly. As you said come on it is the 21st century.

"Something cannot come from nothing. So there must be something in order to have something because nothing can have nothing. That something what ever it may be I call God."
