I'm back, and this time with a pic loaded. pic.

I have 5 of Norwalk Lock Company brass mortise double cabinet door locks. I salvaged them from large paneled cabinet doors from a turn-of-the-century house in the Pasadena area. Again, any idea of the Ebay value or researve, or how much to ask a dealer? Thanks

Additional info. The plate size is 5"x1". It has plates on both sides. The other side has a small brass handle, not a knob. I also have the mounting screws. I don't have the skeleton key.

I have more correctly loaded my pic at:

Don't leave any spaces in between the brackets and your url text.

Type url at the start of your text inside of square brackets and then type /url at the end also inside of square brackets.

Hi saraandmike

If you type

[*url]http://www.geocities.com/saraandmike1/hardwarepic.jpg[*/url]

and take out the * at either end, you will get:

http://www.geocities.com/saraandmike1/hardwarepic.jpg

If you want the image to appear directly in the post, substitute img for url.

Hope this helps

Michelle

Mike -
It just takes a while to get the hang of it. The locks are rather plain, but in matched sets they are hard to find.

List them on eBay in the "architectural antiques" (with better pictures ... show the actual lock, both handles, and the knob surrounds and have something in there for scale) for about $5 each (the group for $24.99) and see what happpens.
