After reading a lot of threads about bad sellers and slow shipping I thought I would call your attention to Ebays worst sellers. The merchant vendors..

I noticed that Bloomingdales is selling on Ebay and decided to have a look. 141 Negs and 77 Neutrals in the last 6 months. Many are for non-delivery, no response to email and damaged merchandise. Beware, if you pay via PayPal they won't ship for more than a month.

Compared to this the majority of Ebay's sellers have super customer service....

Actually, I think the merchant that you are referring to buys Bloomingdale's store pulls and closeouts. They are not affiliated with Bloomingdale's.

You also forgot to mention the 2700+ positives they have.

They normally have around 3500 auctions running each day.

Could someone please explain to me how someone has 3500 auctions running every day? This is an individual? How does one post that many auctions? How do they handle all the photographs and paperwork and mailing? Do they have an eBay factory?

Not meaning to sound like an idiot, but I really am curious!

Thank you grumpyebayer for putting this in perspective. The seller has about than one half of one percent negs, a figure most sellers can only dream about, myself included.

Funny how knowing the whole story is important before jumping to conclusions.

I think they use Andale to keep everything organized.

I am amazed evrytime I look at their listing pages. I think they have about 3700 listings right now. I would lose my mind with that many listings.

I don't know how this particular seller handles it, but it's possible to automate an Ebay business to an amazing degree. Auction management software is a start, but that's just the beginning. It's possible to have a database from which you can automatically generate Mr Lister listings, process your orders, respond to payment receipts, generate shipping lables, and more.

Anyway, a great site for automation is vrane.com.

Because you have provided enough information to ID the Seller, there are several steps that must be followed before the discussion can continue. For detailed instructions, please refer to the link below:

Thank you for your cooperation.
