PTL - even though I have folded my tent for the year, I just read on the eBay Announcment Board that BIN auctions will be followed with an Icon, so that they can be identified - GREAT that ends waisting words telling the buyer 1ST BID WINS!

Well they may have "introduced" it but it must only effect auctions posted after sometime this morning because I ran a search on "Buy It Now" auctions and no new icon appeared!

The icon has been up for the past 3 days, and if you read the post on the AB, it doesn't show up when doing a search, yet.

I know this is new to Ebayer sellers only. I sell on Ebay and Yahoo do okay on both. As far as not putting the words in first bid wins that would be a bad idea. As and if the first bid wins catches on at Ebay buyers will be putting those words in the search engines at Ebay. If you don't have those words in you won't come up and icon isn't going to do it. For now it doesn't matter much if it catches in it surely will. So the words are not wasted.

Is anyone having any luck with the Buy It Now on Ebay? I have seen some of those auctions, but they had a first bid, so the BIN was no longer of any value.
How is it going? Is it worth it? Will it be worth it if it costs say a quarter?
