This may have been already posted. I could not find it. I would like to use this option but revising to include it is a pain. DOes anyone know if AW is going to include it in their auction template?

I found to add BIN to your auctions after launching from auctionwatch is rather easy. Since your listing doesn't go on to ebay for a few minutes after launching you have time to probably do 3 auctions then go to ebay and add it on. I doubt if buyers would place a bid the minute it gets to ebay so there is plenty of time. Maybe a little inconvenient but not that much. I doubt of auctionwatch will put it in their auction listing until they find out of ebay is going to keep it.

I too have found it really easy to list with AW and then revise through ebay. I am a really new seller and I am just getting in to the whole AW program. It took about 4 minutes for my auction to show up on ebay - enough time to do another one - and then I went in right away and revised it with the BIN.
Besides - ebay says in the listing pages somewhere that it will take till the next update for your auction to show up under the search engine. This means that no one can get to your item to bid right away if they can't see it. A problem I know - but it buys you a bit of time to do what you want.

I still can't figure out how to add "Buy it now" to the auctions I'm listing through AW. How is it done? please! someone tell me in detail!! When you launch the auction then go to E-bay, what exactly do you go to? Add to auction? or what? I'm lost!! any help would be great.

Pull up the auction page and click on revise. Buy it now will be there and you can put whatever you would take. If someone is willing to pay that and the item has no bids then they can click on Buy it now and it ends your auction.
I do agree that it would be easy to revise and add this option but I can never get the revise to work. I just bought a new computer last week and hoped it would work on it (because on the old one it would work now and then but not every time) anyway...I just got the old "Page cannot be displayed" when I tried to add the BIN to my auctions. AHHHHHH GRHHHHH That is A PAIN! Does anyone have any idea why I have trouble revising?

Hi jfuller and all,
Really hope you or someone else can figure your problem out. I have listed several auctions today that revised with the BIN price perfectly and then there is one that I've tried to revise about 6 times and I get an error about the page being reset so I can never get to the review changes stage. No bids but no dice. Wonder if it has anything to do with a cached copy? Think that might be the problem for you too?
I think AW might need to know how much eBay is going to charge for this feature before they can include it in any new listing form.
Does anyone have a good guess as to the fee the BIN feature might be. I'm pretty sure it's going to be more than I can afford. At this point, I could handle a dime but not much more and I'm sure it will be higher than that. CC

Cache copy, Clear your cache.....Okay I admit it!~ I have no idea what that means. Would it affect a brand spanking new computer? Why does it work on some but not others? I would love to know because I do need to revise sometimes. Not only that but I use to (with the old computer) not be able to relist. I would get the same ole' song and dance.

Even a brand new computer will cache copies of pages you have recently looked at etc, and that was a thought when I wrote last but I just tried it and then attemped to revise and I still didn't get to the submit stage so that didn't work. Sorry, I was hoping it might be something that simple.
If you want to try it and see it helps, go to Tools at the top of IE, click Internet Options and then click, delete files in the Temp. Internet Files area. That might be different if you're using Netscape, but I have not used Netscape in so long I can't remember how it works there.
Might have to contact eBay at the Q & A Board. Odd that yours works sometimes but not others. Hard to know how to price an item you expect to be able to revise for a BIN price but can't count on. Makes life interesting, as usual . CC
