Earlier this evening my boyfriend and I were sharing a bottle of wine & a bubble bath by candlelight. Then, much to his annoyance, I remembered an item that I've had watchlisted ALL WEEK. Well, I got out of the tub, dried off, turned on the computer, & was JUST BARELY in time to snipe! And I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He wasn't as annoyed when I got back in the tub in such agood mood...on top of the world! Life is good!

just wanted to share.

Best snipe story ever!!!

A jug of wine, a bubble bath, and a snipe. I am seriously turned on!

And all was well that ended extremely well... Now, was the snipe a new Negligee, by any chance, hmmmm? (wink-wink)

Your a lot more dedicated than I am, I never would have had the strength to get out of that tub...

And you wonder why families are breaking apart. Tisk, tisk.

Now if you were really dedicated, you would have a laptop by hot tub!

How does the song go? "Hopelessly in love with ... eBay!"

Well, at least your boyfriend knows you weren't thinking of another guy!

I should show this thread to my Sweetie when next she complains about the time I spend on the computer.

What rarriffle said!!

On the other hand, someone in a different position could use:

"Sorry, I have to snipe tonight!!!"

Thanks for the smile, CAgrrl. Sort of reminds me of the night when I sneaked out of bed to snipe and was afraid of waking my husband.

When I sneaked back in (after a successful snipe) he rolled over (knowing why I had got up) and he whispered "Was it good for you?"

ROTFL! You guys crack me up!

Shosh- it wasn't a negligee, but what a great idea! Next time...

Freddy- The thing I can't get over is that I was lucky enough to make it before the auction ended! I am still utterly amazed about that!

Iswanson- laptop by hot tub, good idea- I'm making a mental note of that!

codasaurus- please do! LOL!

shaani- I died laughing when I read your post. You obviously know where I'm coming from here.

My BF is sooooo cool. He didn't complain much, but then again I bought the bottle of wine & the candles with ebay proceeds in the first place...
