I have a real problem and do not know what to do or how to do it. I have an auction which sold to a person with high feedback, over 400, who is also a seller. I send my end of auction notice and payment amount. I never heard from buyer, resent on the 4th day and accidently sent it twice. I get a nasty message back that trying to attempt receipt of payment twice won't work. I e-mailed the buyer back and informed them that I never heard from them to begin with and that the second message was accidently sent twice. Still no reply to paying for auction. So I wrote a third time, a long letter, explaining my dilema as how a seller who bought an item could be this rude to another seller. I got the contact information through the ebay forum. Then I get a reply from the buyer that this information is only for related ebay matters. On 12/13 is when I should file a NPB alert. I have never had this happen and just am totally at a loss as to what to do. The person has totally ignored, and not even attempted a mailing for this auction. It is only a $10.00 sale. Do I file the NPB, then wait. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Also, all my mailing have been friendly, courteous and just requesting the information for payment.

When it hits time, file the NPB alert. IF that doesn't wake them up all you can do is file FVF credit and relist. Too bad the person is acting like that.

Well, it all depends when the auction ended. If it ended 2 days ago, then you might have jumped the gun. If it ended over 3 business days ago, then you can file a NPB report. Based on bidder's reply that you can file no sooner than 12/13, it sounds like auction might have ended either Saturday or Sunday. By not waiting long enough, then pulling their info, it is possible you might have alienated them, and at this point, they might prefer a NEG than to continue with this sale.

If you are ready toi file NPB report, go there: http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?CreditRequest...then wait 10 days before requesting Final Value Fee.

BTW: do they have any NEGS or NEUTRAL? and if so, what is the reason for those?

I have finally returned home from work and thank you very much for you advice. The auction ended December 2, my first mailing was 12/3 and 12/6, an extra day after the 3 days and even gave them more time. I always hate the NPB alerts, especially to another seller, it just doesn't seem right-where is the respect. In all my sales the past several months, everyone has been awesome, paying well, most of that is via mail. Only 2 deadbeats and then. Oh well, I will not try to give them the courtesy anymore, I will file a NPB alert. Thank you all very much.
