I had some auctions close last night and since I was still up I sent my eoa's instead of waiting till this morning. I got up to an email from a winning bidder who said they also won another item. This doesn't show up in any ebay search unless I search by item number. This makes me nervous....how would I know if an item was missing from "my ebay"
list? Has this happened to anyone else?

Does the missing item show up in your My eBay seller's list? Sometimes when two auctions are posted simultaneously, one can "disappear" into the system. eBay can correct this if you give them the auction number. I did have this happen once, and others have reported it as a common occurrence.

And I'm sorry, but I don't remember where to contact them.

You could always ask that customer for the auction Number, then do a Search by Number...Or go the My Ebay, STATUS, and look at your new bill...Ebay IMMEDIATELY charge your account with the FVF. That will give you the listing number.

Oh! that happened to me recently. I thought I was just not seeing the item in "My eBay"! I didn't even think to wonder if anyone else had a problem like that.

The exact same thing happened to me and I would not have known except that the winner of the auction contacted me. It did not show up in My E-Bay List of Items I'm Selling but I could search for it by number. I worry about it but no one seems to know what to do about it. I would like an answer also.

If you keep track of the item #'s when listed (save listing confirmations) and check them against your My eBay immediately after launching...if they don't show up, email [email protected] with your user id and auction #'s in question. I have had it happen several times, and Jerry has always taken care of it within the hour. Good luck, hope this helps!

It does happen to me when I list several items with a close starting time. One way around it is this. Watch and see if the same amount of items in your AW manager is the same total as in Ebay. If not, hit the missing link in Aw,(or you can search for the item #) and revise with a space or anything just to FORCE the system to recognise it. I was waiting on Ebay, but found this a whole lot faster.

Thanks for all your input. I was hoping this had happened to someone else (only for the advice!) I will have to be more careful in the future to cross check my listings. In this case, I had a bunch scheduled to launch at the same time. I'm just glad the winner notified me!

This happens to me about once a week because I set up 10-15 auctions each day through AW to launch (and thus end) at the same time.

So each day after I check my batch of just-closed auctions on eBay, I've learned to go into Auction Manager and check the completed auctions to see if there's one (or two) strays that didn't show up in the eBay list. If so, just click on the link to the eBay listing to find out who your high bidder is.

THE PROBLEM IS EBAY'S IGNORANT ENGINEERS AND PROGRAMMERS !!!!!!!

You people are only noticing it now, but it has been happening for months !!!

I have sent several emails to ebay about this and they have yet to solve the problem !

I have posted threads on here to let others know about this problem so that they to can contact ebay and ask them to correct it. If you list just a few auctions a month it does not bother you to go in and find and fix your missing auctions, but if you are like me (I list 100 + auctions a week) it is to time consuming to go and find every items missing ! I have done it and out of 150 auctions listed, I have around 6-7 missing everytime !

THIS IS RIDICULOUS !!!!! AND EBAY DOES NOT APPEAR TO WANT TO DO A DAMN THING ABOUT IT !!!
