This auction had a winner, I have a print out of the closed aution with the proper ID, however when I went to leave feedback today I couldn't because the High bidders name no longer shows up. I checked, the bidder is still registered. Does anybody see this auction with the winner's ID in place?
Most Curious.

Nope, no winner's id on my screen. Even at the bottom, where they usually give the "what to do now..." stuff, there are no ids listed.

If you go into the bid history, you'll see that the bid was cancelled due to administrative reasons. Meaning the bidder was NARU'd.

Hmm..
You are right, the bid was cancelled by eBay the day AFTER the auction ended.
The auction is already paid for and shipped.
We'll see if my not holding checks is going to bite me in the buttocks

If the check does bounce, which would most likely mean that the buyer intended for the check to bounce (he got NARUd), don't let it affect your policy. Eat the bank fees and add another name to Santa's "Shitlist".

Maybe, maybe not; haven't been bit yet on an ebay sale. Won't change my policy for just one bouncer though. I've saved more than that in aggravation by sending immediately

I've sold almost 1500 items on ebay, my feedback is over 750 positives, 4 neutrals, no negs, and I have NEVER had a check bounce in almost 2 years of selling.
