I'm confused. Those of you who use AChex to receive payments when do you ship? Do you ship when the money hits your bank, or after you claim the payment, or do you have a "hold time" just like with a paper check?

Thanks.

Side question: I cannot get AChex to open my account.

I've got 2 checking accounts at 2 different banks.

I grabbed my bank statements and keyed in EVERYTHING exactly correct.

It keeps saying unable to verify my identity... it could be one of the following: Name, Address, SS#, Phone, ....

Gee.. thanks. I understand they might not be able to tell you exactly what's not right (showing you what they're seeing) but at least give a hint.

I just cant figure it out.

I have been using achex for a few months. Since there's no way for a buyer to cancel once I get the notice and unlike a credit card, there are no charge backs, I ship when I get the notice. The money is in my account in about two days. Read this for my ratings of online payment services.
