Gee, now that would be such a shame.

Just think if he does go to prison he can spam all he likes OR perhaps he would be the spam receiver.

All right, CA's anti-spam law has some teeth, convicting the spammer of forgery! Finally, spamming has become criminal in at least one case. It's a good article, one that understands and conveys the persistent, deceptive nature of spam.

As far as I can see, all he can get is 7 months probation THAT'S IT. The US government don't want to make a law about it because, it only one way of doing business, and the uncle sam doesn't like the idea of stoping businesses of making money.

The way I read it he plead guilty to second-degree forgery. He forged the "email "headers" to make it look like the spam was being sent from ibm.net."
